About Gulf Coast Oral-Maxillofacial

Located at 850 S Palafox St UNIT 101, Pensacola, FL 32502, Gulf Coast Oral-Maxillofacial operates as a dentist serving Pensacola in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Pensacola, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Florida, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (850) 475-1895. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, gulfcoastfos.com.

Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 17 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

I had a consultation here about a spot in my mouth. When I got to my appointment (I live 30 minutes away) they told me the doctor was called out several hours ago for an emergency surgery and that they would have to reschedule me. I understand emergencies come up, but if they had known for several hours, why didn't they call me earlier to reschedule? I went to my rescheduled consultation and my biopsy and these appointments went fine. On the day of my biopsy, they charged me $225 in the event my insurance didn't cover the visit. When my appointment to go over the results came up, I never received a confirmation phone call, so I called to verify if the appointment was still scheduled or if I had put it on my calendar for the wrong day. They told me the day was correct but they hadn't received my results yet and that they would call me back closer to the appointment time to verify if they received the results. I called back an hour before my appointment after not hearing from them, and they stated that they would have to reschedule. I'm glad I called rather than wasting another hour of my life driving there for nothing. My appointment was scheduled for the next week. Again, no confir

My son recently had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Timko. The entire staff is amazing! Professional, clean office. They were thorough with after care instructions and called to check on him several hours after we got home. Highly recommend!

Dr. Timko is fantastic! I used to feel anxious about going to the dentist because it always seemed painful, there were long waits, and appointments dragged on. But now, the wait is usually only about 5 minutes! I've had a tooth pulled in less than 30 minutes with hardly any discomfort. The staff are incredibly friendly, and Dr. Timko is just as wonderful. It’s definitely worth it! While they don’t accept Medicaid insurance, the payment plans are straightforward, and the services are very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

I had a very pleasant experience at my consultation for my wisdom teeth and was able to set up an appointment during my needed time frame. Everyone I met there was kind and professional. ***I actually had my extractions done today, was able to get in a month early due to an opening. So far so good and gave me resources to take home to make sure I take well care of myself and a number to call if have important question. Was in and out pretty quick. Based on my experience I would recommend.

Came here for my wisdom teeth extraction after a recommendation from my dentist office and they were very professional and the staff was lovely from beginning to end. I was a bit anxious considering this was my first anesthesiology, "laughing gas", and surgery experience. My surgery went smoothly and quickly and the office even called to check and see how I was doing. The office staff were super awesome and every call and visit was met with professionalism and care. I'd highly recommend this place.
